Paneer Rice

Ingredients :

Paneer cubes - 250 gms
Basmati Rice soaked and drained - 2 cups
Onion sliced - 1 medium onion
Greenchillies - 2 no's
Whole spices :
Cinnamon - 2-3 pcs
Cardamom - 2
Clove - 3-4
Water - 3 and half cups
Salt to taste

Preparation:

In a pressure cooker pour little oil and put the whole spices and half of sliced onion and fry till its soft. Then add soaked basmati rice into the pressure cooker and fry till its little crispy. Add water, put green chillies ,salt and cook for a whistle.
By the time in a frying pan add little oil and fry paneer till its soft and little golden and keep it aside.
In the same pan fry the balance onion and fry till golden brown.
Open the pressure cooker while the steam is gone by itself and add the panner and onion and mix it will.

Paneer rice is ready to serve hot with any spicy chicken curry or even with any spicy veg curry of your choice.

Servings - 3 to 4 persons.
