Chicken curry
Ingredients:
Chicken - 1kg
Onion thinly sliced - 250gms/4-5 medium
Onion slightly crushed in mixie - 50gms
Tomato chopped - 2
Ginger garlic crushed - 2 tablespoon
Clove - 4-5
Cinnamon stick - 3-4 small
Chilli powder - 2 tablespoon
Corriander - 3 tablespoon
Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Coconut oil - 2 tablespoon
Salt to taste
For seasoning :
Mustard, curry leaves and corriander leaves for garnishing
Preparation method :
Marinate chicken with chilli powder,corriander powder,turmeric, garam masala and salt for an hr.
In a pan/clay pot pour oil and put mustard,cloves,cinnamon,crushed & sliced onion and curry leaves. When the onion is transparent add ginger,garlic and chopped tomatoes and fry for few min.
Then add the marinated chicken and keep in slow flame once the chicken is half cooked add water according to gravy consistence. Once the chicken tender and cooked well garnish with corriander leaves.
Yummy chicken curry is ready to have with biriyani of ur choice or chappathi /phulkas.
